Why Buy New

Buying a new vehicle new has several benefits:

-    Manufactures’ Warranty – New vehicles come with warranties, some for as long as 4 years or 50,000 miles or more. Used vehicles sometimes have warranties, but they are usually not as comprehensive as the new car warranty.
-    The maintenance on a new vehicle is usually much less on a new car versus a used one; there are no guarantees on how well a used vehicle was cared for by the previous owner, which can lead to costly maintenance or repairs sooner. With the new vehicle, you have the warranty, plus you know how it is driven and maintained if you are the first owner.
-    Financing is often better, with lower interest rates, especially during low interest rate specials, which do not apply to used vehicles.
-    The lemon law protects you, which means if the vehicle you purchase is a lemon, you can either get your money back or a replacement vehicle. The state lemon laws only apply to new vehicle purchases.
-    New cars have the most recent technology and newest features available.
-    The choice is yours. If you purchase a new vehicle, you can chose the color, inside and out, and features you want, even if it is not on the lot or in the showroom, the dealer can get it for you, exactly as you want it. With used cars, you have to take what is available – model, year, color, and features, so your choices are limited. But be aware that if you have to special order, if they cannot find what you want at another dealer, you may not be eligible for some rebates or discounts.
-    Some manufacturers offer free roadside or emergency assistance for the first year or more if you purchase a new vehicle. A few even offer routine maintenance for a period of time.
